48 Days and Counting

 Why Blog
I've never done the blog thing, and this one is obviously not yet visually appealing.  I want you guys to have some info before you come out this summer and be able to keep up with camp before and after you come.  One of the most important functions this blog will serve is to keep you connected to what's going on in the LIT Bible study throughout the summer (not just your sessions.)  I won't be the only one posting: the other LIT supervisors will be contributing as well.

Hang Out
If you're at this blog it means you got the email from me about camp and hanging out before the summer.  Just a reminder we'll be hanging out at Braum's in Fayetteville on Monday the 25th at 5 and the Braum's in Bentonville Tuesday, the 26th at 5.  That's next week, so come if  you can, even if it's just for a little while.  The ice cream's on camp!

Who Am I
I've been calling, emailing, and facebooking all of you for several months now, so you and your parents are probably wondering who I am.  Here are some of the basics.  My name is Jenny Kathryn Brazile Loyd and I grew up down the street in Bentonville.  I went to OU for 2 years and then transferred to UofA where I spent 4 more years getting degrees in Early Childhood Education, teaching tennis, working for CWE, and meeting my wonderful husband Jesse.  After graduating, I taught in Springdale for a year before coming to camp full-time.    Other random facts:  I have a labradoodle named Paxton, I love Diet Coke from Sonic, and I love to cook and work out.  Future posts will contain more info about who you'll be working with this summer.
